BULLIED, the Northside play about a teenage girl who has been bullied by her peers and has run to packed houses in venues such as the Viking and the Sean O'Casey Theatre, has been selected as part of a showcase of the best of Irish artistic work to tour Germany this summer. Produced by the Dublin Touring Theatre, BULLIED is a totally Northside creation.
Written by Michael J Harnett and starring IFTA nominated Vinnie McCabe and Colaiste Dhulaigh graduate, Shauna Brennan, the play has received widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics. Most recently it ran for four weeks in Bewleys Café Theatre where it packed out every day. Now, as part of Culture Ireland's, Zeitgeist Ireland 24 festival, BULLIED travels to Frankfurt in June to begin a tour that will take in schools and theatres, bringing the best of Irish drama to Germany's Rhineland.
